Consumer Reports gets an early look at the 2027 Subaru Getaway before pricing is announced. Every trim gets all-wheel drive and 420 hp as standard. Subaru claims more than 300 miles of range and a 10-to-80% charge in around 30 minutes via its NACS port, with access to the Tesla Supercharger network. The platform is shared with the Toyota Highlander EV, continuing the two brands' history of joint EV development. Interior quality has a strong Lexus influence in both hardware and feel. Subaru says a 6-foot adult fits comfortably in all three rows, and cargo volume is claimed to beat the Kia EV9 with seats folded. No pricing yet. On sale late 2027.
