Rivian Launches the R2 While the Rest of the Industry Is Pulling Back

Deliveries of the R2 midsize SUV are underway starting with the $57,990 Performance Launch Edition: 656 horsepower, 0-60 in 3.6 seconds, Tesla Supercharger compatible. The $53,990 Premium with 330 miles of EPA-estimated range follows in late 2026. The $45,000 Standard arrives in 2027.
