Electrifying puts BMW's Neue Klasse iX3 head to head with the Audi Q6 e-tron. The iX3 packs a 108.7kWh usable battery with new cylindrical cells, 400kW peak charging, and a WLTP range of up to 500 miles. Real-world winter testing returned 3.4 miles per kWh, roughly 360 miles. The only launch spec is the xDrive50 with 469 horsepower and AWD, starting just over £60,000. The Q6 tops out at 270kW charging, returned about 3 miles per kWh in testing, and the comparable Quattro starts around £68,000. The BMW rides better, charges faster, goes further, and costs less. Electrifying's verdict: the best spec of the Q6 e-tron you can buy is a BMW iX3.
