BMW iX3 First Drive: 500-Mile Range, a Retro Design Revival, and a Completely New Interior Logic

The first Neue Klasse production car arrives with a 500-mile quoted range, an 800V architecture, and a 108.7 kWh battery built around higher-density cylindrical cells. The interior replaces the traditional instrument cluster with a panoramic display projected onto the windscreen. The 500-mile figure beats the new Mercedes GLC by 100 miles. This platform will underpin more than 40 upcoming BMW models, including the next 3 Series and X5.
